Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 48 hours per week rotating shifts Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm

Location: Cardiff, CF37 5YN

To be considered for this position, you must have a 360 Licence, as this is essential for the role.

What you’ll be doing;
Remove waste from the designated waste bays and transfer waste materials.
Use of a counter balance ( Fork lift Truck ) for the transport of waste materials / bins.
Use of baler & loading shovel.
Maintaining overall cleanliness of the site.
Report all service and safety concerns.
Check equipment and mobile plant before using them.
Inspecting waste received at the Waste Transfer Station.
Minor maintenance to plant equipment such as bulb changes and oil level check.
Complete and report the daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of the Mobile Plant.
Plant operation (where trained).

What we’re looking for;
360 licence – essential.
Basic understanding of Health & Safety.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
