Project Manager

The primary role of a Project Manager is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within the budget and according to H&S and the client’s requirements.

Key Duties

· Always demonstrate Extreme Ownership by being the accountable champion for all aspects of the project deliverables once an Internal Pre Start meeting has taken place.

· Become the leader with a day 1 obsession by staying paranoid, fight complacency, stay lean, don’t over complicate & get to the point.

· Make dynamic decision but with a Customer first mindset – treat every customer like it’s our only customer.

· Build the customer relationship with a highest quality always approach and react to client concerns with responsive communication.

· Managing problems with a Solutions mindset – 1 problem, 2 solutions.

· Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.

· Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholders, attending all necessary meetings and chairing those that are necessary to drive the project forward.

· Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation. Including Collaborating with Ventro inter departments, also specialists such as architects, engineers and local government officials for permits and licences, contractors and clients.

· Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of staff members.

· Ensure all projects follow SHARP (Safety, Health and Risk Procedures) ensuring the support from the Compliance Officers are provided to the site team as and when necessary.

· Actively seek to improve project GP by beating program, managing resources wisely, managing stocks ordered.

· Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery and where at risk take appropriate action when necessary.

· Meeting with top management and clients to identify project requirements, update on delivery timelines and costs.

· Use your client relationship to seek out further opportunities of variations or new works.
