Automotive Technician required for Cambridge (South)

Salary: £26,000 DOE – £25,000 OTE

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm and Saturdays, on a rota basis, 8.30am to 12.30pm

Are you an Automotive Technician/Mechanic? Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent? Fancy working for an established Main Dealer Group?

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician for a dealership vacancy in Cambridge (South). Our client is a Dealer Group operating in the Cambridgeshire area on behalf of several well-known brands and an opportunity exists for those with NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair or equivalent, preferably with Main Dealership experience. However, applications are invited from those whose experience has been gained at reputable independent garages or Fast-Fit centres. I am also interested to speak with freshly qualified L3 Technicians eager to begin a career.

This position would suit applicants from Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bedford, Newmarket, Bury, Thetford, Sudbury, Haverhill and surrounding areas.

Working within my clients busy automotive service department you will be given the support and training to develop your skills both on-site and with the manufacturer to a high level. You will be required to work to main dealer standard, completing job cards and working to meet targets and deadlines. You should be competent in the service and repair of vehicles using the latest diagnostic equipment. A valid MOT Smart Card is an advantage, but not essential. A bonus system is in place, rewarding for time-saved and productivity.

VAG experience would be an advantage
