Vehicle Technician

Salary: £15.43 per hour

Our client currently requires an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team in teh boucher road area of Belfast.

This is a temporary ongoing role, Mon-Thurs (8am-4.30pm, Friday 8am-12.15pm with 30 mins break Mon-Thurs- 36.25 hours per week with high possibility of overtime/standby.

Standard hourly rate: £15.43an hour

Hourly rate time and a half: £15.43an hour

Hourly rate double time: £15.43an hour

JOB SUMMARY:

To be responsible for the inspection, servicing, modification,maintenance, and repair of the clients Vehicles and supporting equipment ensuring they are fully operational to manufacturers specifications including the completion of all associated documentations, both written and electronic so there is a 24 hour availability of the vehicles.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* Posess a certified level 2 trade qual AND have atleast 2 years’ experience working in a trade role in their area of expertise.

* Can demonstrate: a excellent record keeping of computerised repair and inspection data; Excellent written & verbal communication skills; a strong customer focus.

* Competent in the use of Windows and other Microsoft applications

* Competent in the use of a Management Indformation System (MIS) for record keeping on repair data

* Must possess a current C Class driving licence.
