The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a Vehicle MET Technician Stripper / Fitter for a leading automotive company based in Coventry.

  • Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays (including statutory holidays)

Responsibilities:

  • Observe all health and safety precautions and regulations and make use of all PPE
  • Assessing damage to a vehicle in terms of mechanical and electrical components before vehicles are stripped, recording, and taking pictures for evidence
  • Work from job cards which detail what work is required to be carried out on a vehicle
  • Disassemble and rebuild vehicles as instructed
  • Refitting parts to ensure they are in line with factory specifications
  • To report and photograph unseen damage, absent from estimates as soon as it is identified
  • Ensure working areas are kept tidy and company policies and procedures are always adhered to
  • Essential Skills:
  • Must be a confident and highly skilled MET Technician with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be well organised
  • Must have the ability to work on a wide range of makes and models of cars
  • Be comfortable working on vehicles of high value
  • Be able to work in a team and confident to work alone
  • You must work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
  • You must hold a clean full UK driver’s license.
