Salary: £26,000 – £36,640.5 per year
We are currently recruiting for the following:
MULTI DROP (vehicles under 3.5 tonnes)
(Category ‘B’ Licence)
Maximum of 6 current penalty points on licence for minor offences.
Good geographical knowledge – local essential, national preferable. 3.5 TONNE / 7.5 TONNE (Category ‘C1’ Licence)
Good geographical and tachograph knowledge.
Aware of EU & Road Transport Regulations.DRIVER OF VEHICLES UNDER CATEGORY ‘C’ LICENCE
Good geographical and tachograph knowledge.
Aware of EU & Road Transport Regulations.DRIVERS OF VEHICLES UNDER CATEGORY ‘C+E’ LICENCE
Good geographical and Tachograph knowledge.

Role Overview
Reports to VOC manager or Distribution Shift Manager.
24/7, Weekends and Bank Holidays are normal working days. Majority of work is on late and night shifts.
LGV drivers undertaking trunking duties between client sites, together with external customer collections and deliveries.
Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Working to tight schedules, with measured and monitored running times.
High safety standards expected.
Person Specification
Essential
The person should be qualified and conduct themselves professionally in order that they are clearly able to take instruction by our client and can deliver the optimal performance expected from a professional driver according to industry best practice.
A LGV licence, in most cases C + E.
Recent experience of LGV driving.
Less than 6 points on Driving Licence.
Own Digital Tachograph card.
Driver CPC.
A maintained and readily available individual training history
Medically fit to perform duties expected.
Desirable
Experience of dealing with customers.
Track Record of Driving Competence.
Clean Driving Licence.
Additional Information
Drivers must be reliable, effective ambassadors for our client.
Requirement for drivers is year round, with peaks at Bank Holidays and particularly in the run up to Christmas.
