At Verovian Agency, we are hiring a vaccination nurse to cover specific clinics in and around the Chester area. To apply, you must be a qualified registered nurse with extensive expertise administering intramuscular vaccinations, current certification in basic life support (BLS) anaphylaxis, and flu/immunisation updates.
As a team member, you will provide a secure and efficient service for administering vaccines in small and large quantities. In addition, while working with the professional team at vaccination sites, you will be in charge of giving the vaccine to residents or overseeing its administration.
You will be expected to support with the following:
Efficient preparation of vaccines before administration.
Delivery of vaccines using the National Protocol.
Disposal of medical waste and replacement of PPE following national regulations.
Compliance with infection prevention procedures among people.
Candidate Requirement
Registered Nurse with NMC Pin.
Able to work independently.
Knowledgeable and skilled in delivering vaccines.
Professional outlook to work.
Outstanding interpersonal abilities.
Current BLS and anaphylaxis training
Prior vaccination history.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Examine patients’ medical records to find any conditions that would make vaccination dangerous.
– Administering vaccinations.
– Keep an accurate immunisation record as appropriate
– Inform patients of the advantages and drawbacks of vaccines and other illness prevention measures.
– Work along with other healthcare professionals.
