Upvc Window and Door Production Operatives

Our client is a manufacturer of u-PVC and aluminum windows and doors, based in Swindon and supplying trade customers throughout Southern England.

We are looking for forward thinking, technically-minded Production staff who have an understanding of angles and mathematics, and who can display confidence and capability in the use of a range of equipment from hand tools to CNC machines. Once trained, you will manufacture to the highest standards at all times without supervision, and you will perform in-process checks throughout your day, because quality matters.

As the successful applicant, you will show initiative and enthusiasm, and you will want to make a success of this role. You will take pride in a job well done, and aim to exceed targets and deadlines at all times. With the right teams in place, we will have future vacancies for section controllers and other roles, and there will be opportunities to progress through the company as we grow.

Working hours are 8-00am to 4-30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required (usually worked before the daily shift). Starting at an annual salary of £26,000you will prove during the first three months that you are willing and able to learn new processes and become multi-skilled,. At the end of a successful 12-week probation period, your annual salary of will rise to £7.55, with the possibility of increasing to £8.00 or higher depending on the new skills you learn or the additional responsibilities you take on.”
