Tutor

Salary: £24 – £36 per hour

Connex Education Partnership are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and proactive tutors in the Nottingham area who are able to support children on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of students to help raise attainment in several subjects with Primary aged pupils.

This is an exciting role for any experienced teacher or NQT who is looking to provide support and work to bridge the gap created by the current Covid-19 situation and school closures before Summer.

As the successful tutor you will possess the following skills:

-Good subject knowledge preferably in Maths or English
-Empathetic and patient attitude
-Ability to work to the school’s schemes of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
-Good time management to fully utilise the sessions and give students the best support possible
-Experience working with challenging behaviour

Typically, you will be working across a 8 to 12 week scheme of work, delivering intervention sessions which will be planned with the school directly – so gaps can be identified correctly with the class teacher.
