We are recruiting a Test & Validation Engineer to join our Team based in Whitley Bridge, Yorkshire.
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Test & Validation Engineer at Tunstall, youโll be responsible for developing and implementing manual and automated tests to validate hardware, firmware, and systems.
The Ideal candidate:
Weโre looking for someone with an in depth understanding of test and validation who is keen to solve problems!
Key skills and experience:
Proven experience of developing manual test / validation solutions for electronic systems.
Proven experience of developing automated test / validation solutions for electronic systems
Experience developing OO software for product validation of hardware products – LabVIEW, C#, or Python.
Experience in the control and use of Measurement Instruments โ Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers, etc.
Experience of Hardware Design (Altium preferred).
Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
Microsoft Word, Excel, expertise.
Ability to communicate technical problems to Development Engineers.
Desirable skills:
Development of test procedures and strategies
Experience of RF Design, Review and Test (RED).
Experience of Embedded c programming.
Experience of Code Reviews and Unit Testing.
Experience of Software Engineering tools.
Experience of Safety and EMC testing.
Experience of Penetration testing.
Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, SI.
Previous experience with analogue and digital connection to a Call-Handling system would be very desirable.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement manual tests in Azure DevOps.
Develop and implement automated tests to supplement / replace manual tests.
Review and enhance existing Azure Test Suites.
Liaise with Hardware and Firmware to ensure sufficient test coverage provided.
Produce Test Requirement and Test Report documentation.
