Treasury Officer
Job Description
Treasury Officer
Gloucester with some WFH
£40,000 – £45,000
This growing national Gloucester-based business is recruiting a Treasury Officer to take responsibility for its efficient cash flow operations. This represents a great opportunity for someone with experience of leading Treasury teams in the past to join a growing and acquisitive organisation.
You will manage a team of banking and treasury professionals, analysing and reporting on the company’s cash flow operations and ensuring that each entity has the optimal cash position. You will have a significant involvement in forecasting and budgeting and will develop cash flow forecasts across the business.
There will be a focus on monitoring bank accounts and maintaining banking relationships and you will oversee a number of different processes. In addition, you will look closely at internal controls to improve and optimise the company’s cash position and analyse treasury-related data to aid commercial decisions.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in treasury operations and cash flow forecasting. You will have led teams in the past but they need not necessarily be big teams. You will have a detailed approach to work with excellent communication skills and an ability to get to grips with different financial systems.
