Position: Software Development Trainer
Location: MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, Manchester, North West
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hour a week
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000PA depending on experience

ROLE: 
My Futures Bright Ltd, a progressive training company affiliated to a software development company called Bright Future Software Ltd.

As Trainer / Tutor you will develop and deliver high quality training and mentoring to our Apprentices, developing them into skilled and competent IT professionals. You will closely with our Commercial Team to ensure that the training reflects the skills and knowledge required by them.

We are situated in MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, Greater Manchester. Our large modern office with its vibrant, dynamic and friendly atmosphere will make your working day fly by. It certainly won`t feel like the usual Monday – Friday, 37.5 hour a week job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Develop and deliver high quality training and mentoring to our Apprentices, developing them into skilled and competent IT professionals.
– Deliver training in a highly motivating and flexible manner to ensure that our Apprentices remain engaged and qualify to a high standard.
– Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure that the training reflects the skills and knowledge required by them.
– Work closely with all the Training Team to ensure that our Apprentices achieve the highest grades.
– Ensure that all processes and reports required are delivered on time and to the required standard.
– Actively seek improvements to the training delivery and curriculum to ensure that the qualification and commercial requirements are met.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
– You must have experience in a similar commercial or training environment, as well as being full of infectious enthusiasm and great communication skills, to reach our Apprentices.
– Recognised qualification or commercial experience in at least one or more of the following areas: Web development, e.g. HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, WordPress; Object Orientated or Event Driven Programming, e.g. Java, C++; Database Design and development, e.g. Oracle, SQL; General computer hardware, network and security.
– A recognised teaching qualification, preferably PTLLS or an agreement to achieving a Diploma in Teaching.
– Ability to deliver lively, practical and engaging teaching and learning sessions.
– A passion to impart knowledge, to succeed and help others succeed.
– Ability to create innovative teaching materials and methods to inspire Apprentice Programmers.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
– Experience of working with Apprentices.
– Knowledge of Apprenticeships, Frameworks and work based learning.
– Ability to deliver other subject areas of the Apprenticeship such as Project Planning, Systems Analysis, Computer network and security.
– Recognised IT certifications for software and/or web development. 

You may have experience of the following: Trainer, Tutor, Software Developer, Software Development Manager, Web Developer, Learning & Development, Lecturer, Course Leader, Curriculum Designer, Teacher, Teaching, Assessor, Verifier, Course Developer etc.
