Traineeship Tutor (Retail) – North East

Are you an experienced Tutor or Trainer? Do you have experience working with young people aged 16-19? Have you delivered on Traineeships? Are you passionate about teaching and learning?

One of the UK’s leading training providers delivering Traineeships, Employability and Apprenticeships are expanding their Traineeship team and are looking for a Traineeship Tutor to work across the North East.

The role is being offered on a full time and permanent basis, where you will deliver training across the region from various centres in the North East.

This role will be focusing on the Traineeship programme. The role will be responsible for delivering Employability, Vocational and Functional skills to groups of 16-19 years olds that are not in Education, Employment or Training. The ideal candidate will also have recent retail experience.

This exciting position, within a quality driven organisation, will allow you to draw on your experience of working with young people to provide NEET jobseekers with employability skills and a stepping stone towards an apprenticeship.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

* Delivering accredited training
* Delivering first class, outstanding teaching and learning
* Developing fit for purpose curriculum that differentiates for all learner needs
* Offering a vibrant and engaging teaching style
* Coaching and mentoring young people to overcome barriers to learning

It is absolutely essential that candidates have a teaching qualification as well as proven experience of working with learners aged 16-19 years within a training role.

You will need a flexible approach, excellent communication skills, along with the ability to motivate and engage with learners. This role will involve travelling to centres across the region, therefore you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.

* A starting salary of £26,000 – £27,192per year (depending on qualifications)
