Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £30,000 per year

Stroud Resourcing has an exciting opportunity for commercially experienced individuals to become fully-trained Recruitment Consultants in our 18-24 month training scheme. These full-time Trainee Recruitment Consultant roles are based in York and offer an attractive starting salary of up to £30,000, plus a lucrative commission, generous benefits and a structured career path.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will join our mixed-ability, no age-limit training programme that is ideal for someone changing careers. You will partner with experienced recruiters and benefit from an expert-led training programme broken down into bite-sized chunks, incorporating an introduction to our industry, our business and our customers as well as training on all the technical aspects of being a recruiter.

In this Trainee Recruitment Consultant job, we will fund your attainment of a professional recruitment qualification. You will work with a top training provider that adopts a blended approach to learning, and you’ll learn on the job and have paid study leave to complete your course work. Please note that a career in recruitment involves ‘consultative selling’ and extensive phone work. There are targets to meet, and it’s not a 9-5 job, but with hybrid and flexible working models, this career can be managed around personal commitments.

• Initiative combined with a good work ethic
• The ability to leverage your work experience to bring new ideas and ways of working
• Demonstrated commercial experience gained in a customer service setting

As a vital member of our team, and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, we will provide a favourable salary of up to £30,000plus life-changing earning potential with uncapped commission. In addition, from year three, you will have the opportunity to increase your basic salary by £1,000 every six months.
