Trainee Project Development Engineer x 2, West Yorkshire, £22,000 – £28,000

Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a hugely successful company who work with some of the world’s leading brands. This company has gone from strength to strength and as a result have a number of sites throughout the UK with impressive future plans for growth. Our client has 2 newly developed roles for Project Engineers to work at their site in West Yorkshire. These are exciting roles for ambitious, motivated Graduates (Degree or HND) who are looking to gain a broad understanding of Engineering in a company that is growing fast and to be a major contributor to the growth. Training will be given along with full mentoring from seasoned Project Managers.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the following;

* Involvement in various continuous improvement projects on multiple packing lines
* Supporting new product introduction
* Looking at reducing waste and improving efficiencies
* Working on process flow projects
* Working with Engineering teams to ensure machinery is optimised
* Resolving issues with new product changes with regards to machinery

This role presents a real opportunity for development for the right individual.

You should be of Graduate calibre (Degree or HND) in an engineering discipline with good practical and theoretical knowledge. You should have excellent communication skills as this role involves working across a variety of teams to achieve results. You should also be driven and a problem solver. An ability to use CAD would be a distinct advantage.
