Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector (Manufacturing Experience of Mechanica)

Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector – mechanical aptitude – manufacturing environment experience or mechanical qualification – must be willing to learn – Oil & Gas company – based Aberdeen – Salary: £26,000per year

We are looking for a Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector who has a mechanical aptitude and who has, ideally, have worked in a manufacturing environment or has a mechanical qualification.

Candidates for the position of Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector (Manufacturing Experience of Mechanical Qualification) must be willing to learn as full training will be given.

You should also be comfortable working with a quality system as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required and have good computer skills including Excel, Work and MS Project.

The role of Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector (Manufacturing Experience of Mechanical Qualification) will consist of working as part of a team of five inspectors in close cooperation with the Mechanical Design Goods In departments and being involved in the cleaning and inspection of small machined parts.

Day to day duties will include:
• Cleaning and dimensionally and visually inspecting finishes machined components and assemblies.
• Compiling Inspection Report Sheets.
• Actioning Non-Conformance Reports.

To undertake this role the Trainee Mechanical QC Inspector (Manufacturing Experience of Mechanical Qualification) must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

The ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative is also required
