Trainee Documentation Clerk

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year

Our long-established freight forwarding client, is currently looking for a Trainee Documentation Clerk to join the small team at their UK Headquarters in Basildon. Perfect for candidates just starting their career; you’ll be handling import/export documentation, customs entries and bookings, as well as updating the in-house system. Full training will be given; you just need to be passionate about learning! You’ll gain valuable experience and transferable skills within the freight forwarding industry, which is currently in very high demand. This is a full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday with no weekend work required!

Trainee Documentation Clerk duties include:
* Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Issuing bills of lading
* Dealing with invoices to customers
* Dealing with payment enquiries
* Dealing with post shipment enquires with overseas offices and agents
