The Role

The role of a Aircraft Broker is a diverse and complex one. You will shadow a senior member of the team to learn first-hand what the role will involve.
Your time will be split between proactive and reactive selling, ie: you will learn to deal quickly with sales calls that are incoming, arranging charters, getting quotes, and providing an exceptional level of customer service to the passengers. When you are not dealing with incoming calls, you will be expected to generate new business as well, helping to grow the business through new clients.

A typical day will include:
– Target account research and selection
– New business calling
– New business meetings
– Reactive selling
– Sales visits
– Calling aircraft operators and fixing charters and flights
– Negotiating fees
– Liaising with accounts to ensure flights are executed smoothly
– Providing in-depth post flight reports
– Provide operational and sales support to your team

During the first year you will develop an in-depth understanding of aircraft type, facilities, and services.

So impressive has their success been over the last few years that they have expanded globally and now have offices in every continent and are currently looking to expand their Greater London and international offices.

The Candidate

– Graduate with a 2.1 degree or above
– Highly driven and self-motivated
– Professional and punctual
– LANGUAGES: German, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese and Cantonese/Mandarin desirable
– Excellent telephone manner
– Articulately spoken and written
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team
– Sales career focused
– Willing to travel internationally
