Our client, a market leader in their field with an excellent working environment are currently seeking an experienced Trade Press & Publications officer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a PR or publications background to champion this fantastic brand.

Trade Press & Publications Officer Responsibilities:

* Establish, develop and maintain professional relationships with the trade press editors, journalists and freelance writers across trade press.
* Participate in regular planning reviews to inform greater strategic approach to distribution of editorial.
* Research and write reactive press releases and articles.
* Establish, develop and maintain professional relationships with corporate press editors, journalists and freelance writers in order to initiate regular coverage of the company and its activities.
* Monitor daily press cuttings to identify potential opportunities or threats.
* Compile clippings, distribute daily and create and communicate a monthly report to internal audiences.
* Deliver consistent, regular and informative internal communications to employees.
* Responsible for the day to day liaison with relevant external agencies in relation to press and campaign activity.
* Monitor the implementation of projects and ensuring that activity is timely and appropriate.
* Responsible for the flagship publication Insight; including the bi-monthly organisation and planning of upcoming issues, liaising with the editor to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Address any press enquiries or requests for information and/or research needed by trade, corporate or consumer journalist.
* Liaise with internal and external customers to research queries and provide answers.
* Provide ad hoc support to all team members with regards to any written communications.
* Liaise with the Profession services team on any issues that may create media interest.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining local press contacts in order to generate local and regional press coverage for the company.

Trade Press & Publications Officer Experience Required:

* Trade press management.
* PR campaign and events experience
* Strong writing and proof reading skills.
* Experience in Social media and internal communications
* Media relations experience
