My client is a well established family run business based in Watford, Herts, who as part of their expansion are seeking an experienced Trade Counter person to join their team.

They are seeking an individual ideally with experience of working with a Plumbers Merchant or on a Trade Counter recently. Must be computer literate and able to use bespoke databases, Word and Excel and have a confident telephone manner. As a small and well established local business, they have regular trade clients who know like and trust them and are looking for someone who will fit well into the team of 6.

The role will include:-

* Taking inbound calls from tradespeople and consumers

* Checking stock on their bespoke system or by going into the warehouse

* Taking in deliveries into the warehouse

* Sending out goods when required

* Finding the stock for customers collecting

* Use of EPOS till

* Logging sales on their system INTACT

* Typing quotations on INTACT, Word or Excel

* Receiving and responding to emails

* Maybe involved with ordering stock
