Trades Counter Sales Person
We are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Person for our Romford based client.
Job description
* Build effective relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements and ensuring that the correct products and services are supplied
* Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers
* Undertake site visits to gain new sales
* Telesales to existing and new comapanies
* Ensure that Company policies are followed at all times when producing paperwork associated with sales
* Liaise with suppliers and other branches/departments where necessary
* Support the Branch/General Manager and colleagues and work as a team to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within Company policy
* Ensure a tidy working environment at all times in line with Health & Safety guidelines
* Work within Company policy and procedures including Health & Safety Guidelines
Candidates must have a proven track record in sales within the construction/trade counter sector, excellent telephone manner, be customer focused and willing to go that extra mile.
Our client is offering an excellent salary & commission package, 30 days holidays (inc bank hols).
Hours of work: Monday- Friday 8:00- 5pm
