Salary: £33,600 per year
A Nationwide Plant and Tool Company who hires out a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small power tools to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors are looking for a Tools Tester & Fitter to work in the busy and successful Oxford Branch. As a Tools Tester and Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of the busy depot with responsibility for servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a range of electrical tools including saws, grinders and drills to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out PAT Testing on all electrical tools
- Test and run electrical tools to ensure they are in good working order prior to hire
- Tagging all electrical tools when test and run completed.
- Service and Repair all Petrol and Diesel tools
- Maintain up to date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
- Assist in ensuring availability of Top 50
- Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
- Assist with general workshop duties
- Driving duties during holidays and periods of absence.
- Ensure workshop is clean, tidy and well organised
