Other clients outside of the MoJ Framework Agreement include various parts of the NHS, Local Authorities and Schools around the UK.

1) A tiered payment structure from £14.4 – £26.4 per hour dependent upon qualifications, experience and language
2) Cancellation payments*
3) Door to door mileage payments*

We are looking for suitably qualified/Experienced freelance interpreters in the following languages:

Somali
Tamil
Kurdish Sorani
Czech
Slovak
Romanian

Essential requirements

The interpreter must have one or more of the following:

* Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Public Service Interpreting, DPSI, (English Law, Health or Local Government options).
Chartered Institute of Linguists Certificate in Community Interpreting, CCI
Metropolitan Police Test
* Language related degree or diploma where English features as part of the course
* Community Interpreting Level 3

OR;
At least 100 hours public sector interpreting experience (not restricted to legal interpreting)
Two written references
