Test Analyst

Salary: £480 – £540 per day

Required: Manual Software Testing experience, Functional or Non-Functional, Government experience

Global company requires 2 x Test Analysts to work on a new software solution which will be in use by a Government Agency. You will have either strong experience of Functional or Non-Functional Testing – gained testing software solutions for a Government Division.

Roles/Duties:

• Carrying out manual testing of software solution
• Analyse changes and assess testing requirements
• Providing estimates of work to help with effective planning
• Create test documents such as Test Plans, Test Scripts & Summary Reports
• Execute test scripts
• Identify and accurately document defects
• Support UAT
• Provide timely and accurate progress updates

Required Skills or Experience:

• Strong manual Software testing experience
• Expertise within either Functional or Non-Functional testing
• Experience working within a Government division is a must
• Current SC Clearance would be ideal, as would ISTQB or similar testing certification
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Strong team player
