Temporary Luggage Assistants / Customer Service Advisors

TEMPORARY LUGGAGE ASSISTANTS NEEDED – SUMMER PERIOD

This role will be based within a busy National Railway station and will involve dealing with the public on a day-to-day basis. You will need to be able to deal with a large volume of passengers.

The Role:
* To meet and exceed customers needs and expectations on all areas of the train station
* Provide assistance to elderly or disabled passengers
* Be proactive in engaging with customers and passengers
* Provide information to customers on timetable related matters
* Assist in times of disruption by helping move luggage and other related items
* Identifying customer needs for information and additional help and meeting those needs

Experience and Knowledge:
* Interpersonal skills
* Previous Customer Service experience
* Interest in the travel industry
* Excellent communication skills
* Hard working
* Ability to use own initiative

Hours of work:
On a rotating shift basis over the summer period
Rate: £26,000 per year
