Temporary 2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £144 – £168 per day

This secondary School in East London is seeking an experienced IT Engineer with solid experience of providing 2nd Line Support to staff within the school.

Reporting to the Network Manager, and working within a team of two, the key responsibilities include:

* Providing 2nd line technical support, answering queries via phone, email and web.

* Recording and acting on faults as reported including PCs, servers, laptops and mobiles.

* Creating and administrating Microsoft Exchange email accounts.

* Providing support for Windows operating systems including XP/7/8/10.

* Supporting Microsoft Office 365.

* Must have a good working knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V Visualization.

* Escalating technical issues and maintaining communication with users.

* Configuring and testing of new hardware and software components.

You will be professional in person and can bring solutions to issues. You will have excellent communication skills and can make an immediate impact within the team.

This is a 35 hour per week, on site role for three months. You must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate.
