Our client are a market leading supplier of secure products and solutions into various markets including healthcare, retail and education. Based in Worcestershire with a turnover of £10 million they are now recruiting for a Telesales Executive to join the team. This person will be working in a B2B sales agent role requiring the ability to cold call and sell to achieve the sales target for a specific sales territory.

You will be responsible for generating your own leads both from an existing database and any other means you wish to use. You will be selling different products all the time so you must be able to sell without the use of a script. You need to be very self-motivated with experience of getting past gate keepers to speak to decision makers. You will be given a specific territory but who you approach within that territory is completely up to you.

Your work will always be 70% new business, only ever managing the accounts of repeat customers but always aiming to bring on new business. This opportunity requires direct sales ability/experience not tele-appointing experience, nor is it account management other than farming for repeat business.

You will require the following skills and experience:
• Sales / customer facing experience
• Experience of generating own leads and carrying out the whole sales process.
• Must be computer literate and have experience working with a CRM.
• Be able to sell without the use of a script.
• Experience of getting past gate keepers and speaking to key decision makers.

The basic salary is £26,000per year with an OTE of circa £26,000 per year; however, the commission is uncapped. My client emphasised that this OTE is very realistic for people who want to work extremely hard.
