Technical Support Officer

We are urgently seeking an experience Technical Support Officer for our local authority client based in West London.

ROLE PURPOSE

1) As part of Community and Housing directorate, carry out a range of administrative and service support duties to contribute to the achievement of service standards for operational teams
2) Responsible for administering all applications for licenses for services, including verifying that applications are compliant with polices, liaising with operational staff and manages where appropriate
3) To be responsible for collecting income where appropriate, recording and safekeeping through appropriate system
4) To make purchases on SAP in accordance with Council Financial Regulations

5) Responsible to responding to enquires regarding street name and numbering, public rights of way and highway status requests, amending and updates records with outcomes
6) To organise the annual inspection of rights of way within the borough and coordinate any necessary maintenance works or enforcement action necessary
7) Responsible for arranging meetings and events, including the booking of venues, equipment, catering and minute taking
8) Develop and deliver publicity campaigns, special events, roadshows, presentations and customer service improvement plans, including supervising any temporarily assigned staff.
