I have a superb opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a hugely successful Leeds based consultancy. You will be primarily concerned with the delivery of complex programmes, using agile techniques to implement component-based technology and assist in business transformation, helping clients deliver programmes/projects that create value, maximise growth and improve the performance of their business. You will use your business skills to provide objective advice and expertise and help an organisation to develop any specialist skills that it may be lacking.

In addition to strong Portfolio PM, Programme and Project Management experience I would expect you to have detailed knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

Agile methods. Applied at scale.
Scrum master roles,
Development,
Technical Testing and Test Automation;
Technical Architecture;
Business Analyst / Architecture.Your day-to-day activities will often be complex and will vary depending on the client and type of project. You may work alone on some projects, while others will involve a large team and could be based in one location or across various sites.

Typical tasks involve:

Managing projects and programmes
Stakeholder management
Project / Programme Rescue
Health check
Carrying out research and data collection to understand the organisation;
Conducting analysis;
Interviewing the client’s employees, management team and other stakeholders;
Running focus groups and facilitating workshops;
Preparing business proposals and presentations.
Identifying issues and forming hypotheses and solutions;
Presenting findings and recommendations to clients;
Implementing recommendations/solutions and ensuring the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out;
Leading and managing those within the team, including analysts;
Liaising with the client to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions;I am looking for someone with a real drive and passion for both technology and Agile, if this describes you then this role offers and unparalleled opportunity.
