Technical Implementation Engineer

My client is a leading provider of financial crime software solutions to the Tier 1 & 2 Financial / Banking markets.

Currently seeking an experienced Technical Engagement Manager, you’ll be hands on in the installation and configuration of their market leading solutions to a global client base, joining an expanding Professional Services team based in Central London.

You’ll need a good appreciation of banking domains, experience working on implementations across international markets and a broad technical skill set to include web servers, databases and Unix/Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

* Drive the installation and configuration of the clients product suite and provide technical assistance to external clients
* Understand and explain functionality of these products to business users
* Coach client in detailed data requirements
* Support users through UAT and product acceptance
* Act as liaison between the customer, IT and internal R&D sites

Desired Experience

* Experience in 2nd/3rd line Technical Support, both remote and Client Facing
* Experience working with various Database Management Systems such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server
* Strong SQL skills
* Excellent working knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems
* Previous experience in the implementation of software applications
* Experience working with banking / financial services clientele
* Knowledge of anti-money laundering, risk management and/or financial crime domains a bonus
* Problem Solving and analytical skills
