Technical Business Analyst-(Scripting)

Technical Business Analyst-(Scripting, Java, SQL, Oracle, UML, Agile, Scrum) 35k-50K per annum + excellent benefit package. Location: Leeds or Cwmbran

My client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a vibrant and well renowned company based in Leeds/ Cwmbran. This is a permanent position with an excellent benefit package. The ideal Business Analyst will have extensive experience in dealing with stakeholders and must be confident with being “Hands On”. You will be technically proficient and have an excellent understanding of Full Software Development Life-cycle. Ideally, you will have a solid understanding and background in Financial Services preferably in the insurance sector and be familiar with the configuration of.Net and Java applications. (Scripting, Java, SQL, Oracle, UML, Agile, Scrum)

* Strong Scripting Skills

* Java Scripting skills

* SQL server and Oracle database experience

* At least 2 years insurance sector experience/ insurance software ideally covering underwriting, claims etc

* Agile and Scrum Methodology Experience

* UML Diagramming

* Process Mapping / Development of data flow diagrams

* BA System analyses/ Database Administration and Integration/ Testing.

You will be liaising with numerous individuals both technical and non technical and therefore must have excellent communication skills. You will be able to work in a pressurised environment and meet tight deadlines. In addition, the role will offer training to the right candidate in order to bring them up to speed with the companies’ in house bespoke system. The role will also be including some travel to client sites so must be flexible.(Scripting, Java, SQL, Oracle, UML, Agile, Scrum)
