We have a great opportunity for a full time Team Secretary to join our Avenues East team.

The role is full time, 39 hours per week working Monday to Friday and Avenues offers hybrid working so the role will be a mixture of working from home and at the office. The area office is in Shrewsbury which has the train station and local shops within walking distance.

In this role you will provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to the Senior Operations Managers and Service Managers and to support the PA to the Regional Director.

  • To provide/share reception duties.
  • To maintain internal databases and where required produce reports from the databases.
  • To minute meetings maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • To liaise and consult with internal functions and external agencies as relevant to specific projects.
  • To establish and promote positive professional relationships with colleagues.
  • To support required financial transactions, including banking and taking payments over the telephone.
  • Deputise for PA as required
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

  • Experience of secretarial and office administration work
  • Knowledge of IT systems, databases and MS Office
  • Experience of copy and audio typing
  • Able to prioritise own workload and be self-motivated
  • Good attention to detail and self-motivated
