Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £26,520 per year

Now Education are delighted to be working as a recruitment partner for a pupil referral unit in Runcorn. The school are seeking a learning support assistant to join their committed and dedicated staff team.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people who are going through a period of real difficulty and may be vulnerable or at risk.

The headteacher at the school would like to meet with candidates who are experienced in working with young people aged 11 and above who have a range of special educational needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, Complex and Challenging Behaviour.

The successful candidate will work on supply for an induction period of around 12 weeks and will then be taken on directly with the school.

The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. You will be expected to attend staff briefing which takes place twice a day and will be given the opportunity to take part in all whole school staff training.
