Teacher of A-level Business Studies & Economics – Independent International Sixth Form College

Our client, an independent sixth form college in the heart of London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Business Studies/ Economics teacher to join their successful and thriving department.

The College: This independent sixth form college is located in central London and caters for a predominantly international student population. There are roughly 250 students on roll. The college’s surrounding area is spotted with well established academic institutes, historic Georgian architecture and green, leafy squares.

The Applicant: Business studies and economics are popular A-level subjects at the college and applicants must be confident and fluent with the teaching content: the applicant will be required to teach a split timetable of 4 hours of business studies with 8 hours of economics. Teaching will be spread over two half days and two full days. The timetabled hours could be increased if candidates could offer accountancy A-level as a taught subject in addition to the aforementioned disciplines. The school’s need for a teacher is immediate so the sooner applicants are able to start the better. Previous experience of teaching in an independent school is desired, however teachers from any background with the relevant teaching expertise and a passionate enthusiasm for their subjects will be considered.

The salary range is on the school’s own generous scale and dependent on experience.
