We are currently looking for a Regional Finance Manager  to join our National Materials and Contracting team. This role will offer a hybrid working model with flexible working from home and meetings onsite in offices.

Main Responsibilities
Working as a key member of the Finance team, the Regional Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in producing insightful and relevant reporting for senior management to support key decision making.​

Supporting Head of Finance with:

Preparation of regional budget and forecast presentations, linking in to a 5-year strategic plan.
Preparation of regional MI including the monthly SVP results pack, offering valuable insight and challenge on business performance.
Reporting, reviewing and challenging Regional support costs.
Engagement with wider Tarmac Stakeholders, including Finance Business planning, Strategic Finance and National Performance Teams.
To ensure Regional compliance and engagement with Internal Controls, Internal Audit and External Audit teams, including being primary point of contact for the co-ordination of SOx activities and process improvement activities in the Region.​
Acting as a key liaison between Central Finance team, other BUs and IT departments in respect of management information development;
Providing the Regional interface between financial planning systems and core reporting systems.
Taking ownership of ad hoc data analysis and modelling requirements.
Linking in with the regional finance team and peer group, coordinating and leading on the preparation and consolidation of management information.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified accountant CIMA ACCA or ACA, or through experience.
Proven technical financial knowledge, ideally with professional accounting qualification and relevant experience.
Detailed knowledge and expertise in financial and ERP systems.
Demonstrable data analysis and manipulation skills. Advanced Excel skills are key.
Must be well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritise to meet deadlines.
Appreciation of MI development principles and best practice.
