This job requires you to effectively manage a class in the absence of a Teacher and ensure work that was set by the school is effectively carried out by the pupils. When not managing classes you will be supporting students in numeracy on a one to one basis.

You must ensure you give the pupils the correct resources need to effectively complete work. You will also be required to understand and learn the school policy so that your management and control of the pupils follows the guidelines of the policy. You must be able to communicate well with the pupils so that they understand the work that has been set for them and complete it to the best of their ability.
