Surveyor M&E

Surveyor M&E

Job Description

So, you’re a surveyor searching for a new job. You’ve assessed and evaluated the market but haven’t yet found the right fit. How about an exciting role working on a military estate in support of our Army customers? Join a great team at Aspire Defence Services…

Being the great surveyor that you are is an outcome of experience, knowledge, and skill. You have experience in evaluating the condition of M&E installations using documentary evidence as well as assessing the physical condition to ensure that they are in line with Building Regulations and Standards.

You understand how to analyse performance trends and identify risk. And in the event of a failure, you’re able to carry out root cause analyses, identifying not just the problems but also proffering solutions.

Your knowledge conducting building and plant surveys is supported by strong communications skills, which come in handy when evaluating from multiple sources and building relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

This means you’re sociable and work well with others, which is great because you’ll have regular reviews and team meetings with your manager to support you in achieving your career goals.

But first, meet the team…

With a 35-year contract, making soldiers’ lives better is at the heart of everything we do at Aspire Defence Services.

Seriously, picture a heart (the real one) and imagine how hard it works to keep the body running, making sure every part gets exactly what it needs to thrive. That’s our mission; to deliver a modern, fully serviced, flexible working environment for soldiers.

And just as the heart needs certain parts to keep the body alive, we need the dedication and commitment of our people to support our customers. We deliver a broad range of services for one-third of the British Army living and working on our patch, and we’re proud of the work we do.

We’re all about nurturing great teams, and our award-winning safety and wellbeing initiatives are built on keeping an eye out for one another and having a good work-life balance.

In addition to being part of our team, you’ll also get…

  • Hybrid working
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%, plus individual life assurance
  • A shopping discounts scheme
  • Employee assistance and health and wellbeing check ins
  • Reward and recognition to celebrate outstanding achievements
  • Free on-site parking
