Location:Hillingdon, London

Salary: £26,000per year.46 per year

Hours of work:Shift work; 7 am – 2.30 pm, 9 am – 9 pm, and 2 pm to 9 pm plus sleep ins 9 pm to 7 am including some weekends.

Driver with own car and manual licence is essential for this role.

Our client is currently seeking experienced support worker to work on their transforming care team, supporting a client who requires 3:1 support 24 hours per day. You will support a young man with autism, limited verbal language who presents with self-injurious behaviours. He loves to laugh and have fun with people, he lives in a 2 bed bungalow in Uxbridge/Hillingdon area.

Support Worker Qualities:

·You will have a ‘can do’ resilient attitude and be committed to inspiring positive change in this young person’s life.

·Have a pro-active approach as no two days are the same.

·You must be able to drive a 7 seater van and have a manual licence.

·Be able to cook and clean.

·Be a reliable and dependable team member.

·It would be an advantage if you speak some Portuguese.

·You will need to be creative, intuitive and be able to improvise when needed.

·You will be an engaging, patient and able to inject fun in activities and during everyday support.
