Our client is a growing independent service provider of unique, flexible and client centered services for children and young adults with learning disabilities and additional complex support needs. They have particular expertise in providing to those who have severe challenging behavior.
This is a permanent role with a Salary: £26,000per year + Benefits.
Responsibilities:
– To provide a supportive service which meets the individual’s needs.
– To work with the individual to help them develop practical and personal skills to help them realize their potential.
– To support individuals to pursue hobbies, attend clubs and have an active social life.
– To support individuals to attend work, day services or a college/further education placement.
– To support individuals to utilize community facilities.
– Assist in the development of each individual and sensitively support their personal care needs and relationship
– To ensure that all agreed WTA, care plans, assessments, management strategies, and behavioral interventions are implemented as agreed.
-To ensure that all recording forms and care plans are completed.
Required:
– Must be passionate in helping vulnerable people
– Must be able to use initiative, fast learner and enthusiatic/ right attitude
– Must be patient in helping, teaching and supporting the vulnerable children/ Young adults in their daily activities
– Must be responsible, reliable, attentive
– Must be able to cope and understand dealing with challenging behaviour
– Essential to have care experience
– Essential, Driver
