Support Worker / Carer

Here at Halcyon Care (West Midlands) Ltd we are looking for Support Workers in Dudley and surrounding areas. Driving is an advantage but not essential.

We are not able to offer sponsorship in this role

We care for our staff enabling you to care for those you support.

What we are looking for:

• Must be based in the local area
• Minimum of 6 months’ UK experience in care work
• Satisfactory evidence of right to work in the UK
• Good sense of professionalism and reliability
• Experience in/with any of the following: Supported Living, Residential Care, Working with Challenging Behaviours, Mental Health and Forensic services, 1:1 Care, Specialist Support work

Role Involves:

• Supporting individuals with daily activities
• Accessing the community
• Use of public transport with individuals
• Meal preparation
• Personal care
• Promoting independance
• Assisting individuals to complete tasks not doing them for them.
