Clarendon Villas, Hove Vital is a Service Manager at a supported living service for people with learning disabilities and has been working at Southdown for six years. He started as a Support Worker at a service where the clients predominantly had physical disabilities. He stayed there for two years and learnt a lot before becoming a Senior Support Worker at another service. All the while he was developing, progressing, growing, and learning new things. He was able to balance his family commitments and work. The wearing of face masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory in this role. In line with Government regulations, all staff working in a Southdown Registered Care Home have to be fully vaccinated with two vaccinations against COVID-19 and all staff working in our supported living services are strongly advised to be vaccinated, and may have to be in future. All applicants will be asked about their vaccination status.
An Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity will be required for successful applicants – Southdown pay the cost.
