About Pinetree Lodge
Pinetree Lodge supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia who, because of this organic brain disease, have behaviors that challenge which means they are unable to live in the wider community. Our team of experienced Registered Nurses & Support Workers led by Clinical Leads work closely to undertake assessments to provide person centered therapeutic interventions to minimize any risks associated with these behavioiurs. Our support workers also deliver personal care such as washing and dressing, assisting with eating and drinking if required.
The role of the support worker is an exciting opportunity to deliver positive change to the people we serve. This involves spending time observing and listening to service users and their families to identify any unmet needs we then develop strategies in order minimize the impact of behaviours that challenge. Working as part of the team, support workers play a vital part of a resident’s care.
Working hard to create a homely environment, the team at Pinetree Lodge have many years’ experiences in developing bespoke packages of care for our residents ensuring the highest standards are met.
