Support Worker

We are recruiting for temporary Experienced Support Workers to support our client delivering services to homeless women with Substance Misuse, Mental Health, domestic violence and sex working issues.

You must be honest and reliable, and have the ability to work within a team, and on your own.

Experience with challenging and aggressive behaviour would be an advantage.

Your main duties will be to perform routine patrols around the centre, and to report any incidents to the Management Team.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with residents and staff.

Previous relevant work experience in dealing with vulnerable adults would also be an advantage.

You must be able to work within the Christian ethos.

The successful candidate MUST HAVE a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and must be able to start immediately. Must have experience dealing with service users with the above issues.

In addition, a current CRB/DBS is required. If you do not have one you will need to apply for one at your own cost.

You will be required to attend an in London and you will also be required to attend two days training in Billericay, Essex. (This is necessary)
