Support Engineer / Technician (Automatic Data Capture/ IT)

£35,000 – £45,000 and company car/ car allowance + company benefits
Are you a Technical Support Engineer / Technician with a background in IT / networking who is looking for training and progression? On offer is the opportunity to work within a growing global leading company that supply into the industrial automation markets.
After Initial training you will be providing service support to clients and business partner through the sales team over a wide range of rugged mobile and associated technologies. You will prepare technical equipment for demonstration and exhibition. You will also be required to travel to meet perspective clients and must have a UK passport as may be required to travel internationally.
Our client is an international global leader in data capture technology and is expanding rapidly. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge in a growing industry.
The Role:
* Provide technical support – via telephone, email and on-site support
* Prepare sales demonstrations and exhibitions
* Servicing and setting up of data capture equipment
Person:
* Background in IT/ networking HNC or equivalent
* Sales experience
* Outgoing team player who willing to take initiative and responsibility for technical issues from initial report to final resolution
