A dynamic, multi-disciplinary professional services organisation offers to the market a part time administrative support opportunity. Working 4 hrs a day over 5 days a week at their modern, open plan, central Guildford offices.
Support Administrator – About The Role
The main purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive administrative support to senior manager and dedicated team within organisation.
• Setting up new clients on system and with related government departments.
• Sending out standard letters of engagement to clients and partner organisations.
• Administer reminders by email or letter.
• Manage information requests and chasers by email or letter.
• Update Excel control sheet.
• Format Word documents, consultancy reports other correspondence.
• Client telephone messaging and general communications.
The successful Support Administrator will have:
• Minimum 3 yrs experience in office based, administrative support role.
• Excellent organisation skills are essential.
• The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to consistently meet targets and objectives by identifying and prioritising workload.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative to work efficiently on projects alone.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
• The ability to demonstrate initiative to solve problems.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate work.
• Good level of copy typing (min 50 wpm).
• Solid knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel. PowerPoint experience also useful. Formatting skills in Word essential for presentation of reports.
• Familiarity with tax/finance-related terminology an advantage but not essential.
• Candidates with work history in a legal or accountancy practice are desirable but not essential.
