Supplier Performance Manager- Aerospace
We are looking for a Supplier Performance Manager to join an expanding aerospace engineering organisation with an ever increasing global presence. In this role you will take responsibility for managing and improving Quality and logistics performance of key suppliers to ensure that targets are achieved and sustained. Other responsibilities will include:

– Monitor supplier on time delivery and other key performance indicators to identify trends and take appropriate action.
– Develop recovery plans when targets are not met.
– Monitor supplier risk and communicate any problems internally.
– Taking overall responsibility for driving internal actions and improvements with supplier issues in order to eliminate risks.
– Plan, schedule and facilitate and conduct supplier improvement projects for Quality and delivery using six sigma tools and quality improvement plans.
– Enforce and develop tier 1 management of sub-tier suppliers.

For this role you will need:

– A strong Supplier Development background with experience of working in the aerospace industry.
– Good understanding of process control, total quality, lean manufacturing, and structured problem solving.
