You will support the Operations Manager in managing site activities, staff, and contractors, while delivering high standards of health & safety, environmental performance, and customer service. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week. requirements – Carrying out risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work – Managing day-to-day site activities, including inductions and contractor control – Coordinating mobile plant operations and covering plant

duties where required – Maintaining site records, systems, and documentation (IMS and H&S systems) – Conducting site inspections and taking corrective action where needed – Supporting accident/incident investigations and reporting procedures – Deputising for the Operations Manager as required What are we looking for? –

Experience in landfill or a similar environment (essential) –

Experience overseeing and operating mobile plant (essential) – Strong organisational

skills with the ability to prioritise workloads – Good IT

skills and

experience maintaining records and systems – Knowledge of health & safety practices and compliance

requirements – A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving – Strong communication
