Sub Agent

Salary: £18 per hour

A main contractor is recruiting a Sub Agent for a £15m water treatment upgrade on the outskirts of the New Forest starting imminently. The business is delivering projects up to £100m locally for Southern Water comprising of both clean and dirty water projects, offering security over the next 5 years’. Elsewhere in the business have thriving highways and building divisions.

The Sub Agent role will compromise of planning, managing a team and ensure the specification is met for Southern Water on pack ages of work including reinforced concrete foundations, retaining walls, access roads, steel and pipework, drainage and other civils aspects associated with new pumping stations, rising mains and water treatment facilities.

Sub Agent include:

• Support the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
• Writing risk assessments and method statements
• Manage quality assurance documentation
• Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
• Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
• Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
• Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
• Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries
