This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a well-established, award winning, multidisciplinary consultancy in a vibrant office in Ashford or Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who is keen to develop their career in a busy Structural Engineering office working on projects from inception through to completion. The successful candidate will be offered the chance to work on some exciting and interesting projects across Leisure, Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Educational builds.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer position you will
-Have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience from a consultancy environment
-You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of UK codes of Practice, design standards, Building regulations and Health & safety
-You will be competent using structural design and analysis software and have knowledge of AutoCAD
-You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal

Working as a Structural Engineer you will;
-Provide Structural Engineering support
-Generate structural calculations and specifications
-Carry out analysis using computer models and spreadsheets
-Undertake structural inspections and provide reports accordingly
-Check reinforcement drawings
-Liaise with clients
