Stores Person / Driver

My client has a vacancy for a Stores Person/Driver to join their growing company.

Hours of work are 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 12.00pm Friday.
This role is a temporary role leading to a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The role:

Unloading Goods in, including inspection and checking.
Labelling and location of stocks.
Goods out assembly including packaging.
Stock checking.
Delivering of goods all over Derbyshire as required.
Helping the works Manager with anything he needs.
General tidying and site maintenance.
Vehicle checks on our 3 vehicles.
General machine inspections including cleaning.
Forklift truck driving.
Overhead crane use.

The ideal candidate:

Previous experience would be an advantage.
Good numeracy skills and attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Must have good geographical knowledge of Notts / Derbys areas.
Some lifting involved.
Must have a Full Clean Driving Licence.
Must have a bit of knowledge of warehouse disciplines.
